At Dandelion, we believe therapy should be a place of refuge—a space where you can find comfort, encouragement, and the strength to move forward. We understand that safety is the cornerstone of effective therapy. We are dedicated to providing a space free from judgment, where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without the fear of being misunderstood or criticized. We understand that starting services can sometimes feel overwhelming and confusing. We want to assure you that our goal is to make the process as seamless and straightforward as possible. Here's how we'll work together:

1. Initial Contact:

Your journey begins with contacting us by phone, email, or our contact form on this site. We begin with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to ensure we are the right fit for your needs. We are ready to help and answer any questions you may have. Our friendly staff will gather basic demographic information and help guide you through the next steps. Please have your insurance card handy when you call. Don’t have insurance? No worries, we provide self-pay rates too. You are never obligated to book an appointment if you reach out. You can contact us at 941-780-4268 or info@dandeliontherapygroup.com

2. Your First Visit:

We believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for effective treatment, so you will be working with one of our experienced therapists from the start. During your first session, your therapist will take the time to get to know you, your concerns, and your goals. You'll have the opportunity to discuss challenges you're facing and ask questions. The frequency of sessions will be based on the level of your treatment needs.

3. Treatment Planning/Continued Care:

This is where your healing truly begins! Your therapist will collaborate with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. This plan will outline the objectives, goals, and strategies that will be utilized to address your specific needs. Your therapist will explain the concepts and techniques that will be used, ensuring that you have a clear understanding of what to expect. You and your therapist will regularly assess your progress. We believe in an individualized approach, meaning that your treatment plan will be continuously adjusted to reflect your evolving needs and goals. We'll encourage open and honest communication, allowing for any necessary modifications along the way.

Our commitment to your well-being extends beyond the therapy room. We'll provide you with the necessary tools, resources, and support to help you maintain progress and build resilience.
